Review access after disconnection.
If you disconnected Trussara in QuickBooks, or attempted to disconnect inside Trussara, use this guide to review access, protect your accounting history and choose the right next step.
This public page does not confirm that a company has disconnected. Visiting it does not revoke access, clear credentials or reconnect an account. Check the intended company in Trussara and QuickBooks.
Start with the correct company
Review access on both sides
- Sign in to your own Trussara account. Select the intended organization and confirm your current owner/admin access.
- Open Accounting & Payroll. Use the main navigation or Command Center’s QuickBooks & Gusto shortcut. No project is required to enter this company workspace.
- Use the refresh icon. Refresh provider connections reloads Trussara’s saved status, history and setup information. Read any displayed explanation.
- Review app access in the correct QuickBooks company. An authorized QuickBooks administrator can check the integration’s current provider-side access. Use Intuit’s help if the control is unavailable.
Saved status can lag behind a change in QuickBooks. Trussara’s refresh is not an immediate live revocation check with Intuit. A saved “connected” label does not prove Intuit still permits access after you removed the app there. If the two sides disagree, keep the withdrawal in effect and contact support; do not reconnect simply to clear the label.
If you disconnected in QuickBooks
Review Trussara’s saved status and any outstanding operation. Opening this landing page does not update the company connection or erase locally saved credentials.
In QuickBooks Online, open its integration/app management area, locate Trussara and review the available access controls. Menu names and permissions can vary. Follow Intuit’s official app-disconnection instructions for your product.
If you want to disconnect in Trussara
On the QuickBooks card in Accounting & Payroll, choose Disconnect and review the confirmation. This is the authenticated action that attempts revocation and, after confirmation, clears the saved connection credentials.
Owners/admins can review and disconnect an existing QuickBooks connection after plan access expires. Current account, session, role and required security verification still apply; renewing an accounting plan is not required merely to revoke access.
If Open Trussara does not launch the installed app, open it manually from your device’s app list and follow the steps above. The button does not select a company, open a specific workspace or sign you in.
Understand the outcome
What a confirmed Trussara disconnection changes
Trussara’s QuickBooks disconnect flow confirms provider revocation before completing its saved-connection cleanup. Existing accounting records and the record of previous operations have separate lifecycles.
| Area | What happens |
|---|---|
| Provider authorization | The flow revokes the saved QuickBooks authorization. Future supported provider actions require appropriate authorization again. |
| Saved credentials & mappings | Trussara clears the connection’s saved encrypted provider credentials, linked company identity and mappings. Outstanding authorization attempts are invalidated. |
| Source-sync previews & queue | Pending simple source-sync jobs in preview or queued state are canceled. This does not undo an already-attempted provider operation. |
| Accounting records | Previously created QuickBooks invoices, expenses, bills and recorded bill payments remain. Disconnection does not void, delete or reverse them. |
| Operation history | Synchronization, saved Finance workflow and audit history are retained. Some older drafts, reviews or result checks can require reconciliation directly in the original provider account after the connection changes. |
Disconnection does not move or refund money, collect a customer payment or cancel a transaction already submitted elsewhere. A running provider request may need to finish before disconnection is available.
When the result needs review
Handle interrupted or unconfirmed actions
Disconnection was not confirmed
A network interruption, provider response or setup issue can prevent Trussara from confirming completion. The encrypted connection information can remain for a revocation retry, and the app may request reconnection or further review.
Keep the error/reference, refresh the saved status and review access in QuickBooks. Use the actual Disconnect control again when appropriate. Retrying that control retries revocation; it does not resend invoices, bills or other financial records.
A financial action has an unclear outcome
Before disconnecting, use Check provider result for an uncertain operation where available. Keep the original operation and compare it with the intended QuickBooks company.
If the connection has already changed, an older operation may require direct reconciliation in its original provider account. Contact support before creating a replacement invoice, bill or payment record.
A timeout does not establish either outcome. Intuit may have withdrawn access even if Trussara could not finish its saved-status update. Likewise, an interrupted accounting send may already have created a record. Review the existing evidence instead of inferring success or failure from this page.
If a provider request is still running, wait for that existing request and review its result. Do not start another financial action to test whether access was revoked. If disconnection remains blocked, contact Trussara Support and the relevant provider with redacted references.
Restore access only when intended
Reconnect with a fresh review
Reconnect only when an authorized company decision-maker wants Trussara to access QuickBooks again. You can leave the integration disconnected.
- Open the correct Trussara company’s Accounting & Payroll workspace.
- Use the available Connect QuickBooks or Reconnect QuickBooks control. Current feature access, provider setup and security checks apply.
- Complete consent with an authorized Intuit account and verify the intended company/environment. A different company may require disconnecting the prior binding first.
- Review mappings, supported records and current provider results before authorizing any new operation. Use the Connect or reconnect guide for the full setup steps.
Reconnection does not resolve previous transactions. It does not reverse or automatically resend earlier entries, restore canceled source-sync jobs or make an older review valid. Compare unresolved operations with the original QuickBooks company and obtain a fresh review before any supported new action.
Accounting connection/write features require Business or higher access, or an applicable separately authorized entitlement. QuickBooks permissions, company edition and supported tax/currency/locale settings also determine available actions.
Separate controls and responsibilities
Data, subscriptions and Gusto
Account and data deletion
QuickBooks disconnection does not delete your Trussara identity, company, shared project records or provider records. An individual account-deletion request also should not be treated as proof that a shared company’s provider authorization was revoked.
Use Account & Data Deletion for the separate request process. Shared business records and necessary financial, security or audit history can remain subject to applicable retention requirements. The Privacy Policy explains data handling and rights.
Subscriptions and other providers
Disconnecting QuickBooks does not cancel Trussara/Google Play renewal, a QuickBooks subscription or a separate provider agreement. Manage each subscription through its billing provider.
It also does not disconnect Gusto, revoke Gusto authorization or cancel scheduled/submitted payroll. Review Gusto access and payroll status separately. Gusto’s Trussara disconnect has different provider-revocation behavior; use the app’s explanation and Support guide.
Your authorized company representative or accountant remains responsible for required accounting records, corrections and financial decisions. The Terms of Service describe the service and provider responsibilities.
Practical answers
Disconnection questions and support
Does arriving on this page mean disconnection succeeded?
No. This public page receives no authenticated company status. Review the actual app/provider information for the intended company and retain any confirmation or redacted error/reference.
QuickBooks says access was removed, but Trussara still says connected
Trussara may still display saved status until invalid authorization is detected during a provider request. Refreshing reloads the saved information; it does not immediately verify revocation with Intuit. Keep the provider withdrawal in effect, avoid new financial sends and ask support about the local status/credential cleanup. Do not reconnect just to remove the stale label.
Do I need to renew my plan to disconnect?
QuickBooks disconnection does not require renewed accounting-write entitlement. You still need current owner/admin access, a valid session and applicable security verification. If you cannot access the company or the control, contact support; do not use another person’s credentials.
Are every saved draft and earlier result check available after reconnecting?
No. Connection changes can invalidate earlier workflow reviews and claims. Preserve the history and reconcile uncertain operations in the original QuickBooks company when the app requires it. Reconnection is not permission to duplicate an older attempted record.
Can I keep using Trussara without QuickBooks?
The QuickBooks connection is separate from your Trussara account. Other modules remain subject to your company’s current plan, role, permissions and service availability. Accounting actions that require QuickBooks access need valid provider authorization.
What evidence should I send to support?
Send your app version/build, company role, environment, timestamp/time zone, where you disconnected, the action attempted and a redacted status/error or operation reference. Describe whether QuickBooks and Trussara display different states.
Do not send passwords, tokens, API keys, OAuth-return URLs/codes, bank details or full accounting/payroll records. Trussara Support handles the app/integration; Intuit handles QuickBooks account-side access issues.
