Before You Delete Your Account
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Before beginning, review the following carefully:
- You will lose access to every Trussara organization and project connected to your account.
- Your former memberships, permissions, notification settings, and organization access cannot be restored by creating another account.
- If you are the only active owner of an organization, you must transfer ownership or complete the organization-closure process first.
- Organization-controlled business and legally significant records may remain after your personal account is deleted.
- Download or export any information you are authorized to retain before deleting your account.
Uninstalling Trussara, signing out, disabling notifications, leaving an organization, or being removed by an administrator does not delete your Trussara account.
1) Delete Your Account Inside Trussara
If you can sign in, the in-app deletion process is the fastest method:
- Sign in to your Trussara account.
- Open Settings.
- Open My Account.
- Select Delete account.
- Review the information explaining what will be removed and retained.
- Type DELETE exactly when asked to confirm permanent deletion.
- Complete any recent-sign-in or multi-factor authentication verification requested for account security.
- Resolve any organization-ownership requirements presented by Trussara.
Trussara will not require you to call, email, or speak with support when the direct in-app deletion process can be completed successfully.
After confirmed deletion succeeds, Trussara signs you out and the deleted account can no longer be used to access organizations, projects, files, or other authenticated features.
2) Request Deletion Without Using the App
If you cannot sign in, have uninstalled Trussara, no longer have access to your device, or cannot use the in-app deletion option, you may initiate a deletion request by email.
If the button does not open your email application, send your request directly to: support@veltranastudios.com
Use the subject: Trussara account deletion request
Include only:
- The email address associated with your Trussara account;
- Your name;
- The organization name, if known;
- Whether you are an owner, administrator, member, client, or unsure; and
- A clear statement that you want your Trussara account deleted.
Send the request from the email address associated with your Trussara account whenever possible.
If you no longer control that email address, explain this in your request. Veltrana may require another reasonable verification method to protect the account and organization against unauthorized deletion.
Do not send:
- Your password;
- A multi-factor authentication code;
- Payment-card or bank information;
- Government identification;
- Confidential project files;
- Employee records;
- Medical information; or
- Other unnecessary sensitive information.
Veltrana will never ask you to provide your password or multi-factor authentication code by email.
3) Identity Verification
Account deletion is irreversible. Veltrana may verify that the requester controls the affected account before completing a website or support request.
Verification may include:
- Sending a confirmation to the account’s existing verified email address;
- Requesting a recent authenticated session;
- Requesting verification through an authenticator already enrolled on the account;
- Confirming the organization associated with the account; or
- Using another proportionate method when the account email is unavailable.
Verification information is used to prevent fraudulent or unauthorized account deletion. Veltrana will not require unnecessary information or require you to provide a reason for wanting to delete your account.
4) Sole Organization Owners
Trussara cannot permanently delete an account while that account is the only active owner of an organization.
You must first choose one of the following:
Transfer Organization Ownership
If another eligible internal team member is available, Trussara can transfer ownership to that person. The transfer is immediate and recorded in the organization’s audit history.
Close the Organization
If no eligible member can receive ownership, Trussara may offer an organization-closure process.
Closing an organization disables active organization, member, project, client-portal, and invitation access. It does not automatically erase the organization’s construction, workforce, financial, contractual, CRM, document, file, approval, signature, or audit records.
After every sole-owner conflict has been resolved, the personal account deletion process can continue.
5) Personal Account Information Deleted
After verification and ownership requirements are resolved, successful personal account deletion removes or disables the following account-level information:
- Your Trussara authentication identity;
- Your ability to sign in using the deleted account;
- Active login and refresh sessions across devices;
- Your active organization memberships and project access;
- Your personal profile identity fields;
- Account-specific preferences and notification settings;
- Registered device and push-notification endpoints;
- Account-specific notification-recipient information;
- Portal-access links tied to your authentication identity;
- Invitation links tied to your authentication identity; and
- Active links between your identity and organization-controlled CRM contacts.
Account deletion is not temporary deactivation. The active authentication identity is permanently deleted after the process completes successfully.
6) Organization-Controlled Records That May Remain
Deleting your personal Trussara account does not automatically delete an organization workspace or erase legitimate organization-controlled business records.
Records that may remain include:
- Project records and project activity;
- Schedules and assignments;
- Time entries, corrections, approvals, and timekeeping history;
- Daily logs, visitor records, and safety or incident entries;
- Punchlist items and activity history;
- Client and CRM business records;
- Financial, budget, job-cost, and cost-code records;
- Plans, documents, files, revisions, and version history;
- Electronic acknowledgments, approvals, and signatures;
- Security and access history;
- Audit records; and
- Records required for contractual, accounting, employment, safety, dispute, or legal purposes.
These records may be retained where reasonably necessary to preserve record integrity, protect other users, satisfy the organization’s lawful obligations, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with applicable law.
Retained organization records are not retained as an active personal Trussara account.
7) Historical Attribution and Pseudonymization
Some organization records must retain a history showing that an action was performed, changed, approved, or recorded by a user.
When historical attribution must remain, Trussara removes the active account association and replaces identifying profile information with a pseudonymous deleted-user reference.
A retained pseudonymous reference:
- Is not an active Trussara account;
- Cannot be used to sign in;
- Does not provide organization or project access;
- Does not maintain an active user profile; and
- Exists only to preserve the integrity of authorized historical records.
Pseudonymization is not the same as claiming that every historical record is completely anonymous.
8) Information Inside Documents and Free-Text Records
Personal information may appear inside organization-controlled content such as:
- Uploaded PDFs and plans;
- Photographs or videos;
- Daily-log descriptions;
- Safety or incident narratives;
- Punchlist comments;
- Document names or revision notes;
- Signatures or approvals;
- CRM notes; or
- Other free-text business records.
Personal account deletion does not automatically search, rewrite, or erase every reference to a person contained inside legitimate organization-controlled documents, files, photographs, or free-text records.
Requests concerning a specific organization-controlled record may need to be directed to the organization responsible for that record. You may also contact Veltrana if you believe applicable privacy law gives you a right concerning that information.
9) CRM Contacts and Client-Portal Access
An organization may maintain a CRM contact as its own business record. Deleting a Trussara account does not necessarily delete that separate organization-controlled contact record.
Trussara removes the deleted account’s active portal identity and unlinks account-specific portal and invitation relationships from the retained CRM contact.
10) Former Employees and Contractors
A former employee, subcontractor, consultant, or other former organization member may request deletion of their personal Trussara account.
However, Veltrana may not be able to delete organization-controlled employment, timekeeping, project, safety, financial, contractual, or audit records solely at the individual’s request when the organization has a legitimate or legally required reason to preserve them.
Removing someone from an organization ends that person’s organization access but does not automatically delete the person’s separate Trussara account.
11) Workspace-Record Requests
Account deletion and organization-workspace deletion are separate processes.
An authorized organization representative may ask Veltrana to review a request to delete, restrict, preserve, or export organization-controlled records.
Send workspace-record requests to support@veltranastudios.com with the subject Trussara workspace data request.
Before acting, Veltrana may verify the requester’s authority and evaluate contractual, legal, employment, accounting, safety, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, and other legitimate recordkeeping requirements.
Veltrana may restrict, minimize, pseudonymize, or preserve information when immediate deletion is not appropriate or legally permitted.
12) Backups and Service Providers
After successful deletion, limited residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backup or disaster-recovery systems until those copies expire through their normal secure rotation.
Backup copies are not maintained as active user accounts and are not available for ordinary product use.
When a service provider processes account data for Trussara, Veltrana takes appropriate steps to delete or disable the associated information from that provider where applicable.
Specific information may also be retained when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, prevent fraud or abuse, protect security, resolve disputes, or preserve legitimate organization-controlled records.
13) Processing Time and Confirmation
The authenticated in-app process attempts to complete deletion after identity verification and organization-ownership requirements are resolved.
For requests made without the app, Veltrana will:
- Acknowledge the request;
- Explain any required verification steps;
- Identify any organization-ownership issue;
- Process the verified request as soon as reasonably practicable;
- Explain any information that must be retained; and
- Send confirmation when account processing is complete.
Processing time may depend on identity verification, organization ownership, security concerns, legal requirements, or the complexity of associated records. Requests will be handled within the period required by applicable law.
14) Other Accounts and Third-Party Records
Your account deletion does not delete:
- Other users’ accounts or personal profiles;
- Another organization’s independently controlled records;
- Files already lawfully exported by an organization or authorized recipient;
- Records independently maintained by Apple, Google, or another app store;
- Required security, fraud-prevention, or legal records; or
- Information lawfully maintained outside Trussara by another party.
15) Subscriptions and Billing
Trussara’s current internal-testing version does not include a paid subscription and does not automatically enroll testers in future billing.
If paid plans are introduced later, subscription cancellation instructions will be displayed before purchase and added to this page.
Deleting an account may not automatically cancel a future subscription billed by Apple, Google, or another marketplace. Store-managed subscriptions must be canceled through the applicable store’s subscription-management process.
16) Your Additional Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or request deletion of personal information.
Account deletion is not intended to limit any privacy right that applies to you.
For more information, review the Trussara Privacy Policy.
