Open your QuickBooks workflow in Trussara.
Bring reviewed construction accounting records into the right company workflow. Open Trussara to manage your connection, check mappings, prepare supported records and review provider results.
The app button asks your device to open the installed Trussara app. Then sign in, select your company and follow the steps below. This page does not display or verify your company’s private connection status.
For company owners and administrators
Continue in the app
- Open Trussara and choose your company.
Use your own account. Confirm the organization you intend to manage and your current owner/admin access. - Open Accounting & Payroll.
Use the main navigation, or choose QuickBooks & Gusto in Command Center. You do not need to create a project to enter this company workspace. - Review the QuickBooks connection.
Refresh the workspace and verify the intended QuickBooks company/environment. If authorization is needed, use Connect QuickBooks or Reconnect QuickBooks and complete the provider consent. - Choose your accounting task.
Use Review mappings and Preview selected records for eligible project-source sync, or Open QuickBooks tools for the detailed Finance workspace.
If the app does not open: open Trussara from your device’s app list and follow these same steps. Desktop browsers, installation state or device link settings can prevent app handoff. Opening this page on a computer does not sign you into the mobile app.
If Trussara is not installed, use the authorized store release or testing invitation supplied by your organization. Access to an internal testing release may require the invited Google Play account and test opt-in. Ask your administrator or Trussara Support if you do not have the correct installation instructions.
Reviewed records, clear outcomes
What the integration supports
Available actions depend on the connected company, edition, permissions, supported locale/tax/currency configuration and your current Trussara access. Review the exact record and available controls before authorizing a provider action.
Project invoice synchronization
Use Review mappings to check customer/service references, then Preview selected records to choose eligible issued project invoices.
The simple source-sync path covers supported non-taxable USD invoices. Use the detailed tools for supported taxable or other currency/locale workflows.
Already-paid project expenses
Preview eligible USD, non-labor costs/receipt postings that have already been paid. Review the bank/card and expense-account mappings and confirm the payment state.
This simple path records gross expense amounts without separate/recoverable-tax accounting. It is not for unpaid bills, payroll or an expense claim still awaiting reimbursement.
Detailed invoices and vendor bills
In Open QuickBooks tools, choose Create invoice or Create vendor bill for the supported draft/review workflow.
Check the customer/vendor, items/accounts, dates, amounts, currency and applicable tax treatment. Provider edition and permissions determine which controls are available.
Records of completed bill payments
Record bill payment documents a supplier payment already completed. Review the bill, payment account, amount and reference before confirming.
Creating the bookkeeping record does not initiate a bank transfer, collect customer funds or automatically reimburse an employee.
Saved operations and supported amendments
Review server-saved operations and available Edit draft, Review and send or Amend record controls.
Eligible amendments use the current provider revision. Unsupported line types or changes require review directly in QuickBooks; editing a local source does not automatically change the provider record.
Financial reports and result checks
Open Financial reports for reports supported by the connected company. Available options can include profit and loss, balance sheet, trial balance, general ledger and receivables/payables aging.
Use Check provider result to reconcile attempted or unclear operations. Report availability and accounting correctness still depend on provider settings and the underlying records.
A connection is not automatic synchronization of everything. Select the supported records and review the preview. Creating a QuickBooks invoice record does not automatically email it to a customer, create a payment link or collect a payment. Separate currency groups do not perform foreign-exchange conversion.
Company access and setup
Before using a connected accounting workflow
- Correct Trussara company and role: you must have current owner/admin provider-management access. An accounting-role permission alone does not grant it.
- Applicable feature access: accounting connection/write features require Business or higher access, or an applicable separately authorized entitlement. Workspace entry itself does not require a project or a paid-plan entry gate.
- Provider authority: use an authorized Intuit account with permission for the intended QuickBooks Online company and requested scopes.
- Current security/session: complete the authenticator or other verification required for your company, role or sensitive action.
- Supported setup: confirm provider configuration, company edition, environment and mappings. An explanation of missing setup is not a successful connection.
- Eligible source records: project-source previews require the intended active project and supported records, even though entering the company integration workspace does not.
If a control is unavailable, read the reason shown and check these prerequisites. Creating an unrelated project, using a coworker’s credentials or buying a second subscription is not a substitute for resolving the actual access/setup issue.
QuickBooks products can have separate service agreements and charges. Trussara plan access does not automatically provide every Intuit product or permission.
Review before sending
Keep accounting actions deliberate
Confirm the company, customer/vendor, source/version, classifications, amounts, currency, tax treatment and account mappings for each operation. Review the current provider preview and explicit confirmation rather than assuming a previous mapping or local approval is sufficient.
A timeout is not proof of failure. If a send or amendment has an uncertain result, keep the existing operation and use Check provider result. Compare the current provider record before considering another action. Do not create a duplicate invoice, bill or payment record just to get a clearer response.
Reconnecting or changing a local record does not reverse provider entries. Local correction/void workflows can preserve originals and can be unavailable for provider-attempted history. Use the supported provider/company correction process and ask for help if the result is unclear.
Your authorized company decision-maker or accountant remains responsible for bookkeeping classification, tax treatment, required records and financial decisions.
Connection control and privacy
Know what you are authorizing
The connection can process selected company/resource identifiers, mappings, accounting records, reports, authorization history and provider results. Provider access/refresh credentials are encrypted and held server-side for authorized backend use. Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service before using the integration.
Veltrana processes authorized QuickBooks information to provide Trussara to the Customer, not on Intuit’s behalf. Your use of QuickBooks is also subject to Intuit’s applicable terms and privacy practices.
Owners/admins can use the QuickBooks Disconnect control inside Accounting & Payroll. It attempts provider authorization revocation before clearing saved credentials and canceling pending preview/queued sync jobs. If revocation cannot be confirmed, the connection is kept for retry.
Disconnecting does not delete existing QuickBooks records, refund money, reverse bookkeeping entries or cancel separate subscriptions. Use the dedicated After disconnection guide for the next steps.
Opening this Launch page or the public connection/disconnection guides does not itself authorize, revoke or verify a private company connection.
Help with the next step
QuickBooks launch questions
I came from QuickBooks. Am I already connected?
This public page cannot determine that. Open Trussara, select the intended company and refresh Accounting & Payroll. Review the actual QuickBooks connection and provider results before taking action.
Do I need a project before I can connect?
No project is needed for an owner/admin to enter the company integration workspace. Project-source synchronization separately requires an active project, eligible source records and the applicable access/setup.
Where do I connect or reconnect?
Use the actual Connect QuickBooks or Reconnect QuickBooks control inside Trussara. Complete provider consent using an authorized Intuit account. The Connect or reconnect guide explains the steps; opening the guide alone does not connect anything.
Does Open QuickBooks tools run payroll?
It opens Trussara’s supported QuickBooks Online accounting workspace. Gusto time synchronization and separately approved Embedded Payroll are distinct workflows in Accounting & Payroll. A QuickBooks connection does not enable Gusto payroll.
The app opens, but the accounting controls are missing
Check the installed app version, selected company, owner/admin role and current permissions. Open the main Accounting & Payroll entry or Command Center’s QuickBooks & Gusto shortcut. Review any plan/security/provider-setup reason shown and contact support if the expected controls remain unavailable.
What should I send to support?
Email support@veltranastudios.com with the app version/build, company role, environment, timestamp/time zone, intended action and a redacted error/reference. Do not send passwords, OAuth-return links/codes, tokens, API keys, bank details or full accounting/payroll records.
Use Trussara Support for detailed troubleshooting and safe evidence guidance. Trussara Support handles the app/integration; your accountant and the relevant provider handle their respective account and accounting responsibilities.
